Product Description:
The UMAMI EGG is a 100% plant-based whole egg replacer that replicates egg functionalities with added value of moisture retention. Use it as an ingredient to replace eggs in your favorite dishes from deviled egg salad to muffins and other bakery goods!
Ingredients:
Konjac powder, tapioca starch, nutritional yeast, pumpkin powder, mandarin powder*, sodium alginate, rock salt, carrageenan, locust bean gum, woodear mushroom UMAMI powder, carrot powder, magnesium chloride
Sodium alginate and carrageenan are polysaccharides obtained from seaweed. Locust bean gum is a polysaccharide obtained from carob beans. Calcium sulfate and magnesium chloride are used as coagulants like bittern in making tofu.
*The ingredient "mandarin powder" uses unshu mandarin oranges, which are different from "oranges" that are subject to allergens. Unshu mandarin oranges are not designated as an allergen.
